Deaf Awareness Courses starting in December

You will learn what deafness is. Different levels of deafness and the impact of this, the correct terminology for this, what can cause hearing loss. You will gain understanding of what is lip-reading and sign language. We will look at useful technology and websites and will explore what are the everyday problems that deafness may cause and how to overcome this. These courses will be delivered LIVE using Microsoft Teams or Virtual Learning Environment Platform. In order to participate you will need a laptop, tablet with a microphone and camera along with access to Google Chrome or Edge Browsers.
