Gateway to Childminding

Full programme will be launching soon. Please register your interest and provide your contact details for updates.

Becoming a registered childminder can be quite costly, with an approximate expense of £1,000. The setup process includes obtaining the Level 3 Award in preparing to work in home-based childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate, and a DBS check. Poppins could provide support to cover the set up costs for new childminders by providing a grant of up to £1,000 to directly pay for their upfront registration fees. To be eligible for this grant, you would need to apply and meet the low-income threshold.
