A mental health wellbeing programme for anyone wishing to manage their anxiety. Working on self –
care, routines, triggers and self-help strategies.
Who is this course for?
Learners who wish to manage anxiety and take back control over their mental wellbeing.
What can I expect to learn?
Learners will be able to learn strategies to enable them to take back control over their wellbeing,
- Self care
- Identifying triggers
- Coping with anxiety
- Keeping mood diaries
- All the topics will then help learners build a Personal Recovery Plan toolbox.
How will I learn?
In small groups, taught by 2 tutors who have professional and lived experience of mental health. There will be activities, group work, individual reflection and a chance to ‘check-in’ at each session.
How will I know how well I am doing?
Learner achievement will be assessed and monitored by the tutor during the class and feedback given on a group basis or one-to-one as appropriate. A short Individual Learning Plan with specific learning outcomes will be negotiated and agreed at the beginning of the course. These will be reviewed and recorded at the end of the course
- Classroom based learning and home based regular practice of taught techniques to experience full benefits
- Notepad and pen required, all other materials are provided
- There are no costs – all Mental Health & Recovery courses are free of charge.
