A mental health wellbeing programme of free courses, for anyone wishing to manage and reduce their anxiety. Courses explore the triggers for anxiety and introduce self-help strategies and tools for self-monitoring and coping with anxiety, and enable you to develop helpful routines, behaviours and thinking styles in staying healthy. To be eligible for these courses you must reside or work within Essex.

How will I learn?

In small groups, taught by 2 tutors who have professional and lived experience of mental health. There will be activities, group work, individual reflection and a chance to ‘check-in’ at each session.

Courses Available

Managing Anxiety

This course is online and offers an introduction to self-help strategies to manage anxiety, exploring what causes anxiety and tools for self-monitoring and coping with anxiety. The course will take place in an online classroom, with group teaching facilitated by two tutors.

Reducing Anxiety and Staying Healthy

This course offers practical advice, tips and strategies to manage and reduce anxiety. It will enable you to develop helpful routines, behaviours and thinking styles in staying healthy. This course is classroom based with group teaching facilitated by two tutors.
