Adult Community Learning Essex (ACL) joins the successful Advice Store in Basildon Town Centre
Adult education provider, ACL Essex, has joined Basildon Council’s Advice Store to provide information for local residents about the opportunities available to them.
Bringing new opportunities to people in Basildon, ACL Essex will be based fortnightly at the Advice Store, offering virtual and face-to-face learning for adults of all ages. The learning provider has adapted a huge range of flexible courses that are delivered online, via distance learning and in classrooms, to help people flourish. They will be offering taster sessions, flexible learning courses, apprenticeship opportunities and information on financial wellbeing.
Residents of Basildon are invited to come along and discuss the support they need with the ACL Essex team, who will help residents explore the range of options available to them and assist with next steps.
Councillor Tony Ball, Essex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Employability, said: “This is a great opportunity for the residents of Basildon. ACL Essex opens doors for people and changes lives, so giving residents easy access to the help and support that ACL offers is excellent.”

ACL Essex will be at the Advice Store in Basildon Town Centre on 29th September, 13th October, and 27th October.
