A common myth is that apprenticeships are designed for those who have just left school or college. An apprenticeship can be completed whilst employed, at any point in your career.
This misconception stops older people or those with more experience from gaining the support they need to feel happy and comfortable in their role, or developing the additional skills needed to earn a promotion. We want to dispel this myth!
Here are 3 reasons to start an apprenticeship with your current employer:
Increase your confidence in your current role
Do you find yourself lacking confidence in the workplace? Whether you’ve been in your role for a while or have just started in a new role, an apprenticeship could be the perfect way to increase your confidence and get you feeling ready to take on any task thrown at you. Our apprenticeships are designed to help you to develop a wide range of technical skills relating to the qualification you are studying, as well as supporting you to improve your soft skills.
Earn a promotion
An apprenticeship can be a great way to earn a promotion. Our apprenticeship programmes start at level 2 and go all the way up to level 5. As well as evidencing your motivation and desire to develop yourself, the programme will support you to increase your skills, making you the perfect candidate for any upcoming promotion opportunities.
Gain a qualification
Qualifications are always useful and can be used to evidence your skills to your current and future employers. Through gaining a qualification as part of any apprenticeship you won’t have to pay a penny and will be earning at the same time!
As you can see, an apprenticeship can be beneficial wherever you are in your journey, if you would like to learn more about our apprenticeship offer, please click here.
