ACL Essex is the largest provider of adult education in the county. Our aim is to provide learners with as many ways to flourish as possible, to be there in communities across Essex, to make a difference to residents and businesses, so they can make a difference for themselves and to the places that they live in.
We are looking for a passionate individuals to join our service. Successful candidates will be required to design, plan, promote, deliver and evaluate high quality learning opportunities and experiences for our learners in response to their identified needs.
Classroom Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to support in our classes across Essex. In this role you will be supporting learners and tutors across the curriculum, this could be in a small group setting or on a one to one basis. You will be:
Supporting learners in many subject areas
Supporting learners to gain confidence
Inspiring and motivating learners to reach their goals
Parent Ambassador Programme
Parent Ambassadors are a valued part of ACL Essex supporting parental engagement for schools and communities, whilst developing your skills to support others. Currently focusing on the levelling up areas of Basildon, Tendring, Harlow and Colchester we aim to recruit, train and offer unique personal development opportunities to anyone in a parenting role. We really need your help to support parents in the community.
