“I am going to make myself a care plan, I will continue setting myself achievable goals and know the importance of looking after myself.”
Feedback from Mental Health Recovery & Wellbeing Learner
It’s Mental Health Awareness week and this year’s official theme is nature.
Nature is so central to our psychological and emotional health. For most of human history, we have lived as part of nature. It is only in the last five generations that so many of us have lived and worked in a context that is largely separated from nature.
In a 1960s US study, researchers found that patients who were treated in hospitals with a view of nature recovered faster.
