ACL Essex’s Multiply programme continues to provide valuable learning experiences across the region, with a wide range of courses designed to improve numeracy skills and engage learners in various contexts.
Recent Highlights:
- High Engagement: In January and February, Multiply courses maintained strong attendance, with 79 learners in January and 108 learners in February.
- Diverse Course Offerings: The programme has successfully delivered a variety of courses, including practical maths for everyday tasks, creative applications of maths in art and music, and contextualised maths for specific sectors like Hair and Beauty and GCSE Sciences.
- Community Partnerships: Multiply has collaborated with various organisations, including the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Wholesome food Charity, Tendring CVS, and Peaceful Place, to extend its reach and impact.
- Addressing Challenges: The programme has proactively addressed challenges, such as ensuring learners are well-informed about course content and coordinating effectively with partner organisations.
Looking Ahead:
- New courses are planned, including online sessions to support parents with their children’s SATs.
- The Multiply programme is on track to exceed 2030 enrolments.
