Get Online Week is a digital inclusion campaign put on by the Good Things Foundation. Clicking onto the internet opens a new world, however some adults still struggle to get online. According to the Consumer Digital Index, 16% of adults lack Foundation-level essential digital skills.1 The aim of Get Online Week is to help tens of thousands of people get tech savvy.
To support this campaign, ACL Essex is offering residents the opportunity to attend digital workshops, from ‘Understanding Tech as a Parent’ to ‘Embracing AI’. There will also be a chance for visitors to test their podcasting skills or learn how to set up a YouTube channel.
