Skills Bootcamps for Employers
How Can employers get involved with Skills Bootcamps?
Employers can send their own employees onto Skills Bootcamps to help fill skills gaps in the workplace. Courses are subsidised, and the employer is asked to pay a 10% contribution (if employing fewer than 250 employees) or a 30% contribution (if employing more than 250 employees).
Employers can offer interviews to learners who are looking for jobs and have completed a Skills Bootcamp for any live vacancies that they have, or provide interview practice to demonstrate socialvalue in your community for your organisation
Employers can assist with the design of the curriculum, shaping it to meet the needs of common development requirements and skills shortages within your industry and organisation.
Our Skills Bootcamp Offer
Digital Marketing
Our Skills Bootcamp in Digital Marketing is designed to provide you with the practical and technical knowledge necessary for success in the digital marketing field. You will learn how to define, design, build, and implement digital marketing campaigns across various online and social media platforms.
Additionally, you will gain insights into customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, as well as coding basics and website analytics. By completing this program, you will be well-prepared for sustainable employment opportunities in the industry.
- Planning and Developing a Marketing Campaign: Understanding the process, theories, concepts, and tools involved.
- Exploring SWOT and PESTLE analysis, project management techniques, GANTT charts, and utilising MS Teams & SharePoint, as well as Google Analytics.
- Research and Competitor Analysis: Learning effective research methods such as surveys, interviews, and utilising secondary data.
- Branding Theory: Understanding the importance of visual identity, positioning, and how personality and values contribute to successful branding.
- Regulatory and Sustainability Requirements: Familiarising with GDPR, PECR, ASA, Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, and understanding their impact on marketing campaigns.
- Content Creation and Editing: Exploring current and emerging technologies in graphics and image editing, writing impactful and readable content, and optimizing it for search engines.
- Evaluating Marketing Activity: Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), utilising social media insights, and analysing trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Enhancing presentation skills and effectively presenting the finalised marketing campaign
- The sessions will be delivered over a 12-week period, with 2/3 sessions per week.
- Employability skills will be integrated throughout the course to enhance professional development.
Project Management
Join our Project Management Skills Bootcamp, where you will be guided through the fundamentals of project management. This program will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage campaigns or projects. You will learn about the essential techniques and actions required to deliver projects of exceptional quality, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various job roles crucial for a successful team, equipping you with practical skills to achieve success.
- Aspects of project initiation including project lifecycles, roles and responsibilities
- Development of business cases, and effective stakeholder engagement
- Project planning within the construction industry, this includes understanding project documentation, effective communication planning, risk and issue management
- How to incorporate the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) into the project delivery and key areas of the contract management for the project
- The importance of quality and performance monitoring and management
- An additional feature of this skills bootcamp is the Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit. This part of the course will supply an insight into Retrofit, the different retrofit roles and how to achieve good domestic retrofit using a fabric first approach.
Early Years
In this course, participants will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of professional development and the different roles within the field of Early Years. Learners will gain knowledge on how to assist children in developing their speech, language, and communication skills. The course will cover the essential aspects of safeguarding, ensuring that participants understand how to protect and promote the well-being of children. Furthermore, participants will learn about the value of play in Early Years and how to create environments that encourage and enable play. Another unit in the course will focus on legislation related to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice, equipping learners with the necessary skills to adhere to these principles. Lastly, participants will acquire important techniques for supporting healthy lifestyles for children and facilitating their transition to school.
Early Years (Childminders)
On this Skills Bootcamp you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in a range of areas within Early Years Education, including child development, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, the value of play and communication skills.
You will also gain knowledge on safeguarding children, planning for and identifying risks and working in line with Ofsted requirements and the Early Years Framework. You will gain valuable skills and knowledge for working in the sector and you will be signposted to any areas of additional learning identified in your individual learning plans.
