Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
Develop an understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability that will support you to progress to further learning across a range of subjects.
Level 2
Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit
The course is suitable for a wide range of people, including those already working in the sector, those considering joining it and those impacted by it.
Level 3
Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment
A Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) plays a key role as the UK reduces its carbon emissions by surveying, reporting and recording the current energy efficiency of a domestic property.
Level 3
Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice
A retrofit advisor is a customer service focused role, that gives support and advice to homeowners and residents, helping them understand retrofit and it’s impact.
Level 4
Award in Retrofit Assessment for Domestic Dwellings and Older and Traditional Buildings
It is necessary to upskill Domestic Energy Assessors to better understand retrofit and ensure they are skilled to carry out the task to the required standards. This course will be delivered using a blended learning approach.
Level 5
Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
To become a Retrofit Co-ordinator you need to have a qualification in a built environment subject that is at least Level 3 with a minimum of 12 credits (your credits should be detailed on your certificate).
