Construction careers fair with Pathways at the Basildon Centre

ACL Essex will be joining Pathways’ at their construction careers fair!

Basildon is building! As construction work begins in the borough, Basildon Council’s employability hub Pathways is hosting a construction careers fair.

This is your opportunity to speak with employers about their positions at all levels and the sheer variety of roles available in the construction sector.

Also present at the event will be training providers offering courses to start out in construction, gain a CSCS card, or to take your career to the next level.

• Railsafe Group

ACL  will be showcasing our Retro fit Courses  and Construction Project Management skills bootcamp

Training providers alongside ACL the event will be:

• South Essex College – free CSCS training for people aged 19+ and in receipt of Universal Credit or similar benefits
• The Skills Centre – CSCS pre-employment programme for people aged 19+ who are unemployed or earning under £17k
• TCHC – Construction levels 1 and 2 for 16 to 18-year-olds or up to 24 with an EHCP

The construction careers fair is on Tuesday 19th November, 12pm-2pm, in the entrance foyer of the council building, the Basildon Centre, SS14 1DL. Booking to attend is encouraged. Book your place here
