Have you ever heard or seen the word ‘levy’ when looking to hire an apprentice? Here’s Toni to explain what it means for you.
Essex County Council have also recently set up a Levy Transfer Service where businesses can pledge for apprenticeship funding. Therefore, a Levy company could gift funding to pay for the apprenticeship cost, saving you the 5% co-investment. This is a matching service so it isn’t guaranteed you would successfully match with a Levy gifting company. You can also more by emailing our Business Development team or by visiting the gov.uk website.
We are continuing to deliver our high-quality apprenticeship programme throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and can help you consider different options for your business and the specific circumstances you are currently working within. Businesses could receive funding of up to £3,000 to support them to take on a new apprentice and we offer apprenticeships at intermediate, advanced and higher levels.
