Have you ever heard or seen the words ‘Apprenticeship Levy’? Here’s Toni to explain what it means for you.
Essex County Council are striving to increase apprenticeships within the county. To provide quality opportunities for learning and development to strengthen the Essex economy. The Essex Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Service will allow levy donors to utilise unspent levy to support the apprenticeship training costs for smaller businesses. This will lead to increased learning and training opportunities for residents, and long-term benefits for levy donors and recipients.
Our service will let SMEs connect with large organisations and benefit from funded apprenticeship training without the need to co invest. Transferred funds are used to pay for 100% of the training and assessment costs of the apprenticeship. For more info about this service, please email info@essexalts.co.uk.
Businesses could receive an incentive payment of up to £1,000 to support them to take on a new apprentice. To find out more about how an ACL apprenticeship could help your business, please email our Business Development Team or visit our Apprenticeship page.
