Your class will be returning to centre from week beginning 8th March, unless advised otherwise. To ensure we transition back to our centres as safely as possible, could we ask all learners to read the safety information below.
If you are currently shielding or are unable to attend next week, we look forward to welcoming you back when you are able to return. If you are not sure if your class is returning to a centre next week or you have any other queries, please contact your tutor or lifelong.learning@essex.gov.uk.
As we begin to return to centres on week beginning 8th March, our priority is the safety of our learners and staff. We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.
We have strict measures in place to minimise the risk of transmission as we transition back to face-to-face learning. These measures are in place to prevent and respond to any incidents that may occur. In line with the current Department for Education’s guidance, we have implemented strict cleaning, hygiene and handwashing procedures in our centres. Together with this, reduced class sizes, social distancing, and the wearing of face coverings (unless exempt) will ensure the safety of staff, learners, and visitors.
- If you believe you may have Covid-19 symptoms, please do not visit the centre. You will need to self-isolate and arrange for a test. Guidance
- When in our centres please always maintain a 2-metre distance from others.
