The teaching and learning sessions available are held between 9.30am – 2.30pm (day sessions) and 5pm – 9.30pm (evening sessions). From Sept 2021 we will offer both classroom and online delivery.
What is an AAT qualification?
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is one of the key professional membership bodies for the accounting and bookkeeping sector. Each AAT qualification equips you with the knowledge and practical skills required to succeed in the world of finance and business. It is considered an industry standard – many employers look for an AAT qualification when hiring for financial roles.
Courses and locations
We offer the following accounting courses at locations across Essex:
- AAT Foundation L2
This course will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles by giving you a solid foundation in finance administration – covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping and basic costing principles. To further develop your skills you can go on to study the Advanced courses and achieve the AAT Accounting Qualification. - AAT Advanced L3
On this course you’ll master more complex financial processes, including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, costs and revenues and professional ethics, making it perfect for anyone interested in a career in bookkeeping, or who wants to go on to become a fully-qualified accountant. - AAT Professional L4
This course covers high level accounting and finance topics and tasks including management accounting, budgeting management accounting, decision and control financial statements of Ltd companies, accounting systems and controls.
