Please be advised of recent changes to the available parking facilities and building access points at our ACL Basildon centre, Churchill Ave, Broadmayne, Basildon SS14 3SG.
The Department of Health and Social Care is to open a local testing site at Churchill Avenue car park on Wednesday, 11th November, as part of the Government’s UK-wide drive to increase testing. All efforts are being made to segregate the testing facility from the ACL buildings on site. All classes, exams, and other activities at our Basildon centre will continue as planned.
Please note the following changes to our parking facilities from Monday, 9th November:
There will be no access to the main ACL car parking facility
- All ACL students, staff and visitors will be required to enter via the Ely House car park entrance. There will be signs in place to direct you.
- The testing site will be screened off, with barriers in place to ensure that the area is segregated from students, staff and visitors accessing site buildings.
- Please follow the signs from the car park to the new building access points.
For more information, please view the Basildon site diagram.
The testing site is operating on an appointment-only basis and has detailed standard operating procedures which have been signed off by Public Health England. This is to ensure that procedures have health and safety at the forefront. For full information about the safety measures in place at the testing site, please click here.
