We have a range of festive activities for our staff to enjoy. Places are limited to 10 spaces per workshop, so please only book onto one. If there are remaining spaces on workshops, we will notify everyone a week before they are due to start.

Festive Cheer Caught on Camera

Make your Christmas truly memorable with fabulous photographs of your festivities.
Use your SMART phone or iPad to take some festive shots from around the house/garden. Learn to add effects, manipulate and add captions using different Apps. Upload your photo and we will have a competition to choose the best.

Floristry Make a Table Decoration
Tuesday 1st December

Create a fabulous floral table setting.
Create a magical Christmas display to decorate you table over the festive period. Assemble a circular table design with a candle, flowers and winter foliage finished with seasonal accessories.
- One block of wet floral foam
- One six-inch terracotta pot (or a pot cover of this size)
- One sixteen-inch square of plastic (to line the container to ensure it is water proof)
- One twelve-inch taper candle
- Four cocktail sticks
- Ten 0.71mm x 310mm stub wires (these or a similar size wire can be purchased in the florist or in various garden centres)
- One pack of roses (normally sold in packs of 8-10)
- Three stems of spray carnations
- One stem of Gypsophilia
- Three cones (not too big)
- One bucket of winter foliage (holly, ivy, pines, stems of small shrubs from your garden)
- Scissors and a knife

If you are interested in photography and would like to get more out of your Smartphone or camera then this session is for you. Improve your creative skills by using light, colour and composition to capture the festive fun.
