“Learning Together” is a great way to inspire a passion, hobby or develop your skills and knowledge, both for you and your children.

Ideas for “Learning Together” for all ages!
With a bank holiday weekend, and what would have been half term, and the Government’s advice that we can spend time outside, as we are social distancing here are some ideas to keep you and your little ones occupied and learning.
Help them to try, fail, try again and have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it (according to Salvador Dali).
Practice means progress!
Ideal for little ones:
- Arts and crafts
- Exploring sand and water
- Mark making
- Making a creative station
- Get creative in nature
- Portraits with mirrors
- Painting with objects
- Playdough many ways

Ideas for bigger ones:
- Arts and crafts
- 3D models
- Painting stones
- Scavenger hunts
- Cooking/baking
- Building a wellbeing box
- Make a den
- Nature diary
- Use recycled materials for modelling
- Expressive arts -get messy

Ideas for even bigger ones:
- Arts and crafts
- Make a Tiktok
- Make a den
- Hold a photo session
- Make a board game
- Try your hand at sketching
- Learn to knit/sew/crochet
- Get cooking

Ideas for “you are never too big to learn new things”ones:
- ALL of the above – release your inner child
- Or why not try a short FREE course including Mini mindfulness, Phone photography, Textiles, Videography
- Or a longer course in Art, Upholstery, Creative writing

For those who are contemplating the difficult decision of their child starting back to school in June, then join us for one of 2 FREE workshops entitled: “Sending your child back to school”.
These workshops will give you the chance to speak to professional tutors about your concerns and to chat with other parents facing the same challenging decision as yourself.
The first one on Tuesday 26th May at 1 – 3pm will be via a LIVE virtual classroom, the 2nd on Thursday 28th May at 10-12 will be via Facebook LIVE.
