*Courses are subsidised, and the employer is asked to pay a 10% contribution (if employing fewer than 250 employees) or a 30% contribution (if employing more than 250 employees).

Our Offer

We currently offer skills bootcamps in digital marketing, project management (construction and the built environment) and early years.

Digital Marketing

Designed to provide learners with the practical and technical knowledge needed to succeed in the digital marketing field, teaching them a wide range of digital marketing techniques.

Course Content

  • Planning and Developing a Marketing Campaign: Understanding the process, theories, concepts, and tools involved.
  • Exploring SWOT and PESTLE analysis, project management techniques, GANTT charts, and utilising MS Teams & SharePoint, as well as Google Analytics.
  • Research and Competitor Analysis: Learning effective research methods such as surveys, interviews, and utilising secondary data.
  • Branding Theory: Understanding the importance of visual identity, positioning, and how personality and values contribute to successful branding.
  • Regulatory and Sustainability Requirements: Familiarising with GDPR, PECR, ASA, Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, and understanding their impact on marketing campaigns.
  • Content Creation and Editing: Exploring current and emerging technologies in graphics and image editing, writing impactful and readable content, and optimizing it for search engines.
  • Evaluating Marketing Activity: Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), utilising social media insights, and analysing trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Enhancing presentation skills and effectively presenting the finalised marketing campaign
  • The sessions will be delivered over a 12-week period, with 2/3 sessions per week.
  • Employability skills will be integrated throughout the course to enhance professional development.

Project Management

Learn the fundamentals of project management and gain the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage or assist with projects in the construction and built environment industry.

Course Content

  • Aspects of project initiation including project lifecycles, roles and responsibilities
  • Development of business cases, and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Project planning within the construction industry, this includes understanding project documentation, effective communication planning, risk and issue management
  • How to incorporate the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) into the project delivery and key areas of the contract management for the project
  • The importance of quality and performance monitoring and management
  • An additional feature of this skills bootcamp is the Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit. This part of the course will supply an insight into Retrofit, the different retrofit roles and how to achieve good domestic retrofit using a fabric first approach.

Early Years

Learners will explore and develop their knowledge and understanding of various key aspects within the field of Early Years, whilst gaining professional development and valuable skills to use in the Early Years sector.

Course Content

  • Exploring the structure and various types of early years environments
  • Gaining knowledge about child development and its importance
  • Understanding the significance and purpose of play in early years
  • Ensuring quality and compliance through safeguarding, risk assessment, and other measures
  • Gain a Level 2 Food Safety qualification
  • Developing effective communication skills, including Makaton sign language, age-appropriate conversations with children and conversations with parents
  • Planning an activity for an early years setting, considering all the theories and concepts learned
  • Supporting children with learning difficulties, disabilities, and health conditions
  • Developing employability skills throughout the program, including interview techniques
  • Building resilience and confidence in individuals through various sessions.
