- Awards and recognition
- Any additional content that will support the promotion of your curriculum area
If you have any ideas or content, please send an email to ACL.Marketing@essex.gov.uk.
Website feedback
Our website is our biggest sales tool and we need to ensure that it is up to date with accurate information that benefits our current and prospective learners. We have installed a new tool that allows you to share your feedback of the website with us directly.
If you see anything on the website that needs changing or updating, please use this feedback tool on the right-hand side of the page to select elements that need changing. You will be supporting us in our mission to improve the usability, accessibility, design and information on our website. As you all know, the better the experience and information provided, the more likely that individual will enrol on a course and benefit from our services.
As always, if you have anything you’d like to add to the website, please email us with the content.
Our ACL Survey
We’ll be hosting our third ‘Our ACL’ event in June. Hosted by the Extended Leadership Team, these events have been set up to enable you to keep up to date with everything that’s going on across the organisation.
We have created a survey on the ACL Teams channel with questions relating to the previous events, timings of the next event and topics you would like to be included in future events. Receiving your views and feedback is important as we endeavour to provide sessions that are valuable for all staff. You can also suggest ideas for future events and provide feedback on the Our ACL page.

Marketing volunteers
When new promotional print material is created, we distribute to a number of public spaces in towns across the county, including libraries, community centres, job centres, district councils and other information points. As more public building open their doors, we are exploring new ways in which we can increase the visibility of our material and monitor stock levels in each location.
To do this we need your help! We are asking for volunteers to come forward to keep an eye on specific key ‘information points’ in towns, to help improve brand awareness and ensure individuals can access information about our services.
Please contact ACL.Marketing@essex.gov.uk if you would like to know more and get involved.
Tell us how Covid-19 has impacted your employment
Please share the below information with your learners.
Essex County Council is looking to better understand who has been impacted by Covid-19 in terms of employment, how they have been affected, and what support people might need around employment in the future.
To help with this, we are keen to hear about your own experiences of employment over the last year. If you are interested in sharing your views, or taking part in an online interview or focus group, then please complete the survey below by the 17th May. If you are selected to participate in the follow up research, we’ll provide a £10 supermarket voucher as a thank you for taking part.
