“Mollie started at ACL for the first time in September 2020, adult learning was a totally new concept for her, having recently left school. Mollie build strong relationships with her tutor,Alice who worked with her in the classroom and and and other learners on her course.  Mollie had just settled into the college routine before lockdown struck and learning moved to online. Throughout lockdown, Mollie was able to complete weekly home learning supported by Alice.

In the last few weeks of college, Mollie gained further confidence and independence by completing short tasks knowing that support was a short distance away. Mollie has developed her confidence and developed a wide range of new skills including maths and cookery. ”
